Marisa Costa is the founder of Plum Talent & Strategy, a boutique influencer agency built to celebrate creators whose voices, stories, and influence deserve to be seen, valued, and amplified.
With over a decade of experience leading influencer marketing at Amazon, BENlabs, IZEA, Linqia, and Hearst, Marisa has worked with some of the world’s most iconic brands—including Estée Lauder, Amazon, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Lindt, Jersey Mike’s, Reckitt Benckiser, Samsonite, Ecco, Vera Bradley, Audible, Perry Ellis, KISS nails, Raw Sugar Living, Campbell’s, Barilla, Prestige Brands, Vanguard, LVMH, and Procter & Gamble. She has launched influencer programs from the ground up, managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, and helped brands and creators unlock powerful growth.
But Plum Talent & Strategy is more than a business—it’s personal. Throughout her career, Marisa noticed a gap in the industry: many extraordinary women, especially those 40+ and from diverse backgrounds, were creating impactful, inspiring content yet struggled to find representation that understood their unique needs. Too often, these voices were overlooked in a space that prioritized youth over wisdom.
Plum Talent & Strategy was born to change that. Inspired by the symbolism of the plum—perseverance, resilience, beauty, and longevity—Marisa built an agency designed to nurture talent across all stages of life and career. Her mission is to ensure that creators who embody strength, authenticity, and experience have a place to thrive and build lasting success.
A graduate of NYU Stern (MBA) and Syracuse University (Marketing & Journalism), Marisa blends strategic expertise with creative intuition. She is deeply passionate about mentoring talent, building meaningful partnerships, leading breakthrough strategies, and proving that success in this industry is not defined by age, but by the power of your story.
